AeroSchool operates from the historic and welcoming Breighton Airfield, home to one of the UK’s finest private collections of vintage and classic aircraft. Set between Selby and York, Breighton offers a relaxed flying environment with excellent viewing areas, making it an enjoyable day out for families, friends, and aviation enthusiasts alike.
Experience the thrill of flying with a fully qualified instructor, whether it’s your first time at the controls, a scenic adventure over the Vale of York, Selby, Goole, or the winding River Derwent, or a chance to see whether aviation could be your future. From Breighton you’re only 10 minutes by air from York, with stunning countryside routes stretching towards the Yorkshire Wolds and the southern edge of the North York Moors.
Young aviators aged 7+ can sit up front and enjoy the full experience (at the instructor’s discretion), and children under 14 simply need a parent or guardian with them — making it a fantastic family-friendly adventure with plenty to see on the ground, too.
Anyone aged 14 or over can also use their flying time towards a pilot licence.
