Teesside is easily accessible too, just 10 miles from Middlesbrough, 24 miles from Durham, and 35 miles from Newcastle.

Humberside International Airport

Originally RAF Kirmington during World War II, this vibrant regional hub now serves both commercial flights and training operations. Located 12 miles from Grimsby, 22 miles from Hull, and 45 miles from Lincoln, Humberside is an easily accessible gateway to your flying adventure.
Humberside offers exciting routes with incredible views of the Lincolnshire Wolds, the dramatic Humber Bridge, and the stunning estuary stretching out to the North Sea. Popular flights from Humberside include following the River Humber down to Spurn Point, circling the beautiful East Yorkshire coastline, or even making a trip down towards Lincoln, offering spectacular aerial views of the city's historic cathedral. Located just west of Manchester city centre, Manchester Barton Aerodrome is one of the UK’s most historic and characterful airfields. Opened in 1930, Barton combines classic grass-airfield charm with a fantastic location close to one of the country’s busiest aviation regions.
Flying from Barton offers a brilliant mix of training environments. You’ll experience traditional grass airfield operations while also being within easy reach of controlled airspace, regional airports and some of the most recognisable landmarks in the North West.
